All These Spinning Plates, er, Projects

28 May

So many secrets.

So many whispers.

It’s about good things, thankfully.

For those of you in the know it’s a wink wink nod nod carry on.

For those of you who are not in on the secrets please know that you are not loved any less. It’s just that there are so many projects being juggled at the moment it would be hard to keep everyone on the same page at the same time. Plus, if some of them don’t fly, it would kind of suck to have to admit that to too many people.

What I can tell you is that:

We are still looking for an artist to collaborate on a graphic novel. Someone who can stick closely with my husband’s vision for his story. Someone who knows the steampunk genre. Lonnie hasn’t been stagnant, though. He has added more pages to the adventure, and has quite a bit more still in his head. So far we figure he has a years worth of material. Not bad, really.

We are still trying to get an office together. The strange thing is that the more we look into it the more we find that it will be easier to keep a big place open than a little one. We have contacted several real estate agents, and chosen one in particular to represent us locally. We have another in California, but that’s a whole other story.

Our diet is going well. Although the guys are not losing weight as fast as they would like there are subtle changes every week. It’s not really working as well for me, but I already knew that it was going to take a little more work with my reactive hypoglycemia taken into account. That’s alright. I have officially fit back into my size 8 jeans, and exhausted a couple belts trying to keep my other pants up.ย  Happy!ย  ๐Ÿ˜€

I get to go on another road trip in a few weeks. I’m so excited!ย  It’s with my Aunt and Grandma again. We’re going to go visit some relatives. So as you can tell we’re really going to be tearing it up. lolย  It will still be fun. Those two keep me in stitches.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

My garden is mostly planted. Let me see, that includes spinach, leaf lettuce, bunching onions, two kinds of peas, cucumber, tomato, bell pepper, watermelon, and cantaloupe. Everything but the lettuce is doing very well. I don’t know what’s wrong with the lettuce, it’s just not coming up quickly and seeming to be failing to thrive. The spinach, on the other hand, is going to be picked this evening (that will make for the 3rd harvest so far). Carrots will go in around the tomato, and radishes will be planted between the cucumbers.

There are a few more projects in the works. These will be brought to the light for everyone to ooh and aw at when the times are right. Until then, we will continue to work away, hoping that everything lines up for us.

It’s a little bit like this…

Keep those projects in motion!

Hahaha! All those plates and the other guy keeps adding more. Sounds familiar. ๐Ÿ™‚ It sounds like you and Lonnie are up to some cool stuff.

Congratulations on getting down to size 8!

      I’m glad I could give you a giggle. ๐Ÿ˜€

Yeah, we’re busy and loving it. Just hoping one of these days something will pay off in more than a pittance. lol

Thanks! I’m very happy about it. ๐Ÿ™‚
